The main objective of this course is to provide basic virtual learning on Bioinformatics for Master degree and Ph.D. candidate students and those who are interested throughout Thailand.
However, Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary field requiring in-depth knowledge of various fields, such as, mathematics, algorithms, statistics, data mining, genome science, (genome markers & genome sequence analysis), molecular biology, pharmacology, biophysics, hardware engineering and software programming.
Therefore those who may not catch up with any lecture. Please feel free to contact instructor who is responsible for that particular topic by click on Course contents on your left hand side. The 20% of your participation would be depend also on your interaction with lecturers.
Participants will attend the lectures for one week at the NSTDA, which will act as an overview. But for the remaining 3 months of the course, they will have to study by themselves.
Only students who take credit on this course are entitle to sit a final examination and carry out the assignment designated by the instructors (see the evaluation policy).
